Veronica McLaughlin graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. She comes to YNS with several years of fund raising experience. In the positions of Director of Special Events and Associate Executive Director with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, she managed several events each year including walk-a-thons, golf and fishing tournaments, community crawls and black tie galas. Once she began a family, she took on a new career of middle school English teacher that she held for three years before moving to Naperville. Veronica is married with two daughters. Her oldest daughter, Nicole, is in her second year with YNS and loving every minute of it!
