The YNS Boys Choir consists of boys in grades 4-8 who are already members of YNS and are part of either Ensemble, Concert or Chamber Singers. The boys meet for rehearsals two to three times a semester and host "boy only" events designed to get boys singing with boys. YNS hosted their 9th Annual Boys Power Sing this past February. YNS boys, friends and boys from area schools (over 110 of them!) and the Wheaton Men's Glee Club came together for a fantastic morning of singing, food and fun. Led by Nathan Bramstedt and Scott Iseminger, it was a wonderful experience for all involved.
The 10th annual Boys Power Sing will be held on Saturday, September 25th at Neuqua Valley High School. All community boys grades 3 - 8 are invited to attend a morning filled with singing and fun (and no girls!) The men of NVHS will be joining us both to sing with and for the boys. Jay Kellner, Ryan Riminton and Scott Iseminger will lead the boys through energetic songs, complete with African drumming. It will be a day not to be missed!
