On Friday afternoon, March 14th, 52 Chamber and Concert Singers traveled to Madison, WI to perform in a joint concert with the Madison Children’s Choir. On Saturday, they toured the State Capital building before returning home. The following is a first hand report about the trip.

We practiced our own songs and then the combined ones with the Chamber Singers. The Madison choir came in and we sang ‘Hope for Resolution’ and taught them ‘Take Time in Life.’ They were fast learners! At last it was time to perform (‘South Sami People’ went really well!!). The Madison Children’s Choir was really good! After the performance, we ate. At 9:45 p.m., we headed back to the hotel. Lights out was 11:00 p.m. |
